Episode 107

What are "Elementals" (Gnomes, Sylphs, Fairies, Nymphs) -- what do they do - why do they exist?

Everyone has heard of Gnomes but how many people know that Gnomes are one of 4 categories of Elementals? In 1996 Bruce Stephen Holms, Host of Timeless Voyager Radio changed the show format one night on Los Angeles radio station KPFK and elected to speak for the entire program without a guest speaker. Instead, in this “one-of-a-kind” program, Bruce along with some listener phone calls spoke about - and answered questions about the kingdom of Elementals!

The fire element (physical form) of the “Elemental” form which is a “ball of light” seen unexpectedly in photographs. The water spirits (Undine or Nymph) most seen as “mermaids” although not as portrayed realistically in classical paintings and mythology. They live in water and cannot be seen with “normal” vision. Every fountain has at least one “water spirit”. The earth element is represented by Gnomes who usually live in deep caves in the earth and are known to “take care of” gems and minerals. And finally air: includes fairies and sylphs.

This program is the “Everything You Ever Wanted Know about Elementals but were afraid to ask" Show. Listener call-ins and much more.

What made Timeless Voyager Radio different was the program was broadcast at 9 am Monday morning “drive time” instead of the usual late night hours that was reserved for “para-normal” programs. It was launched from a college radio station in 1987 and by 1990 Timeless Voyager Radio was enjoyed by listeners of commercial radio stations in the US and in most parts of the world over short wave radio until it was retired from live broadcasting in late 1994 .
